UKCA LABELS FOR YOUR BUSINESS - POST-BREXIT 'CE' MARKING STANDARD FOR LABELS

The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking that will be used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking pre-Brexit - gov.uk click for more info

Romark Labels is ready to help and has already begun to fulfil labelling requirements for our clients to meet the new standards of post-Brexit operations. Below you can see an example of our labels with the new UKCA marking print on a white polyester adhesive.

The UKCA marking can be used from 1 January 2021. However, to allow businesses time to adjust to the new requirements, you will still be able to use the CE marking until 1 January 2022 in most cases. In some cases, you will need to apply the new UKCA marking to goods being sold in Great Britain immediately from 1 January 2021. You are encouraged to be ready to use the UKCA marking as soon as possible before this date.

It's not too early to start your preparations. Please do get in touch if your business is required to meet these new labelling standards. Romark does not charge any design fees with your order and we continue to cut our client's costs on labelling while providing a superior product and service.
